Product Description
Siemens designates 6DD1688-1AA0 as an Interface Module associated with the Simadyn control platform.
In day-to-day system operation, this component supports the information path between compatible parts of the automation system. Its exact medium, protocol, addressing, and redundancy behavior are determined by the module and system configuration. Service decisions should reflect the configured signal and control function.
SIMADYN is a modular control platform associated with demanding automation and drive applications. This product supports the specialized function identified by its module designation within that system. Installation should follow the control node's approved hardware records.
