• Part Number 2 3BSE018118R1

Product Description

Within the Advant 800xA product line, ABB TP851 serves as a Base Unit for PROFIBUS DP Interface.

From a maintenance perspective, communication modules move control and status information between system elements, helping controllers, networks, operator resources, or external computers exchange data through the architecture named in the product description. The original equipment schedule should guide compatibility review.

ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. The original wiring and configuration records should guide application.

When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. Installation should follow the control node's approved hardware records.
