Product Description

The ABB TU810A-1 is a Compact Termination Unit used with the Advant 800xA automation platform.

In day-to-day system operation, this type of unit concentrates field connections at a defined termination point before signals reach the related control-system electronics. Correct pairing with the associated I/O hardware is essential. The system's documented hardware assignment should guide placement.

ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. System drawings should be consulted before replacement.

For ongoing lifecycle support, proper application depends on matching the product to the original control-system design, including its physical position, electrical connections, and configured relationship with surrounding hardware. The installed revision should be confirmed before the product is applied.
