Product Details

• Part Number 1 6DD1681-0DJ1

Product Description

6DD1681-0DJ1 is identified by Siemens as an Interface Module within the Simadyn family.

Within a distributed control architecture, communication hardware connects otherwise separate processing or network resources so operating data can reach the functions that consume it. Connection and configuration should follow the requirements of the platform.

SIMADYN is a modular control platform associated with demanding automation and drive applications. This product supports the specialized function identified by its module designation within that system. The installed revision should be confirmed before the product is applied.

When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. This is relevant where the installation calls for this specific component class.
