Product Description

The product identified as ABB 6642016D2 is a External Relay Panel Termination Unit in the Bailey Infi 90 hardware family.

Within the process-control arrangement, a termination assembly helps separate permanent field wiring from replaceable electronic modules, providing a structured connection point for commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service. Final selection should be based on the plant's controlled-equipment records.

The Infi 90 platform uses modular hardware to distribute process-control responsibilities across the system. This product is intended for the control system modules function identified by its original system design. Service decisions should reflect the configured signal and control function.

For maintenance or replacement work, the exact module designation should be checked against the installed hardware, wiring records, and control-system documentation before the component is placed into service. Selection should account for the intended surrounding hardware configuration.
