Product Description

Within the Advant 800xA product line, ABB TU811 serves as a Compact Termination Unit.

From a maintenance perspective, a termination assembly helps separate permanent field wiring from replaceable electronic modules, providing a structured connection point for commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service. The product remains part of the broader control and signal-handling arrangement.

ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. The plant's maintenance records should support final product selection.

In the signal path, this approach helps preserve the intended system function while keeping selection aligned with the documented ratings, capacity, and compatibility requirements. Final selection should be based on the plant's controlled-equipment records.
