Product Details

Product Description

Siemens 305-01N is a TI Input Module for the Simatic TI 305 product family.

From a maintenance perspective, a digital input module receives discrete on/off states from field contacts and devices, then makes those states available to the controller for monitoring, sequencing, alarms, and interlocks. Selection should account for the intended surrounding hardware configuration.

For system maintenance, this product is associated with the Simatic TI 305 family and the PLC modules category. Configuration and compatibility should be confirmed for the exact system in which it will be used. Its role should remain distinct from that of similarly named assemblies.

In the signal path, this approach helps preserve the intended system function while keeping selection aligned with the documented ratings, capacity, and compatibility requirements. Final selection should be based on the plant's controlled-equipment records.
