Product Description

305-CPU-RTU is identified by Siemens as a CPU within the Simatic TI 305 family.

Processor and controller modules execute configured control functions, coordinate data from I/O and communication resources, and manage the operating sequence assigned to their control node. The original equipment schedule should guide compatibility review.

Within the assigned control-system position, this product is associated with the Simatic TI 305 family and the PLC modules category. Configuration and compatibility should be confirmed for the exact system in which it will be used. The product should be matched to the documented control-system position.

When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. Installation should follow the control node's approved hardware records.
