Product Description

For Fisher system applications, Emerson 39A0727X042 provides the function of a CIA Interface Card.

Within a distributed control architecture, communication hardware connects otherwise separate processing or network resources so operating data can reach the functions that consume it. The product remains part of the broader control and signal-handling arrangement.

The Fisher product family is associated with process measurement and final-control applications. This item should be applied according to the signal, wiring, and equipment requirements of the installed control loop. The documented module assignment should remain the basis for selection.

When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. Application should remain aligned with the documented system design.
