Product Description
ABB 70EB02a-E is a Digital Input Module for the Procontrol product family.
From a maintenance perspective, a digital input module receives discrete on/off states from field contacts and devices, then makes those states available to the controller for monitoring, sequencing, alarms, and interlocks. The documented module assignment should remain the basis for selection.
Within the assigned control-system position, this product is associated with the Procontrol family and the control system modules category. Configuration and compatibility should be confirmed for the exact system in which it will be used. Maintenance planning should reference the installed hardware configuration.
When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. The surrounding rack and module arrangement should be reviewed before installation.
