Product Description
For Advant 800xA system applications, ABB CI873K01 provides the function of a Ethernet IP Communication Kit.
Within a distributed control architecture, communication hardware connects otherwise separate processing or network resources so operating data can reach the functions that consume it. The installed revision should be confirmed before the product is applied.
ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. The original wiring and configuration records should guide application.
When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. Ratings and capacity should be verified against the exact model documentation.
