Product Description
The ABB DI524 is a Digital Input Module used with the Advant OCS automation platform.
In day-to-day system operation, a digital input module receives discrete on/off states from field contacts and devices, then makes those states available to the controller for monitoring, sequencing, alarms, and interlocks. This is relevant where the installation calls for this specific component class.
Advant OCS provides the platform context for this product, while the control system modules classification identifies its broader automation role. Exact application should follow the installed system configuration. Configuration records should be reconciled with the exact installed assembly.
Country of origin is listed as Germany.
