ABB | Drives NPBA-12

Product Details

• Part Number 1 NPBA-12

Product Description

ABB NPBA-12 is a Profibus Adapter for the Drives product family.

From a maintenance perspective, its purpose is to adapt or repeat signals between compatible parts of the control architecture while preserving the connection method expected by the installed equipment. Maintenance planning should reference the installed hardware configuration.

Within the assigned control-system position, this product is associated with the Drives family and the AC drives category. Configuration and compatibility should be confirmed for the exact system in which it will be used. The documented module assignment should remain the basis for selection.

When this product is used for lifecycle support, technicians should confirm the installed revision, connection arrangement, and system assignment rather than assuming interchangeability with a similarly named module. Final selection should be based on the plant's controlled-equipment records.
