Product Description

Within the Bailey Infi 90 product line, ABB NRDI01 serves as an Input Termination Unit - Rail Mounted.

From a maintenance perspective, this type of unit concentrates field connections at a defined termination point before signals reach the related control-system electronics. Correct pairing with the associated I/O hardware is essential. Maintenance planning should reference the installed hardware configuration.

In an Infi 90 installation, modules are assigned distinct control, signal, communication, and support responsibilities. Preserving the exact product identity helps maintain the configuration documented for the affected control node. The product remains part of the broader control and signal-handling arrangement.

In the signal path, this approach helps preserve the intended system function while keeping selection aligned with the documented ratings, capacity, and compatibility requirements. Service decisions should reflect the configured signal and control function.
