Product Description

The ABB TU819 is a Compact Module Termination Unit used with the Advant 800xA automation platform.

In day-to-day system operation, a termination assembly helps separate permanent field wiring from replaceable electronic modules, providing a structured connection point for commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service. This is relevant where the installation calls for this specific component class.

ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. System drawings should be consulted before replacement.

For maintenance or replacement work, the exact module designation should be checked against the installed hardware, wiring records, and control-system documentation before the component is placed into service. The product remains part of the broader control and signal-handling arrangement.
