Product Description

The ABB TU847 is a Module Termination Unit used with the Advant 800xA automation platform.

In day-to-day system operation, a termination assembly helps separate permanent field wiring from replaceable electronic modules, providing a structured connection point for commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service. The surrounding rack and module arrangement should be reviewed before installation.

ABB Advant and System 800xA environments combine control, I/O, communication, and operator resources. This product supports the hardware function identified by its description within the installed system. Existing connection and module records should guide replacement work.

Country of origin is listed as Estonia.

For maintenance or replacement work, the exact module designation should be checked against the installed hardware, wiring records, and control-system documentation before the component is placed into service. Selection should account for the intended surrounding hardware configuration.
