Product Description

Siemens designates 6DD1672-0AF0 as a Parallel Programming Unit associated with the Simadyn control platform.

In day-to-day system operation, its purpose is tied to the system function named for the product. Connection, configuration, and operating requirements should be confirmed from the installed equipment documentation. Final selection should be based on the plant's controlled-equipment records.

SIMADYN is a modular control platform associated with demanding automation and drive applications. This product supports the specialized function identified by its module designation within that system. This helps preserve the function assigned to the installed control node.

For ongoing lifecycle support, proper application depends on matching the product to the original control-system design, including its physical position, electrical connections, and configured relationship with surrounding hardware. The documented module assignment should remain the basis for selection.
