Product Description

Siemens designates 6DD3440-0AB2 as a Memory Submodule associated with the Simadyn control platform.

Memory and storage components retain program, configuration, or operating information used by compatible automation hardware. Capacity, data type, and retention behavior depend on the exact module design. The system's documented hardware assignment should guide placement.

SIMADYN is a modular control platform associated with demanding automation and drive applications. This product supports the specialized function identified by its module designation within that system. Exact operating details should be taken from the installed model documentation.

For ongoing lifecycle support, proper application depends on matching the product to the original control-system design, including its physical position, electrical connections, and configured relationship with surrounding hardware.
