Product Details

• Part Number 1 6ES7901-0BF00-0AA0

Product Description

For Simatic S7 system applications, Siemens 6ES7901-0BF00-0AA0 provides the function of a Profibus Online Cable.

System cables carry power, signals, or communication between designated control-system assemblies. Connector type, pin assignment, routing, and required length must match the installed equipment. Selection should account for the intended surrounding hardware configuration.

Within an S7 installation, the exact hardware order number determines supported interfaces and configuration behavior. System and software compatibility should be checked before replacement. Its role should remain distinct from that of similarly named assemblies.

In the signal path, this approach helps preserve the intended system function while keeping selection aligned with the documented ratings, capacity, and compatibility requirements. The surrounding rack and module arrangement should be reviewed before installation.
