Product Description

ABB designates SPHSS03 as a Hydraulic Servo Module associated with the Symphony Plus control platform.

In day-to-day system operation, its application involves position measurement or control within the associated system. Sensor type, scaling, wiring, and controlled equipment must match the exact module configuration. This is relevant where the installation calls for this specific component class.

Symphony Plus provides the platform context for this product, while the industrial automation hardware classification identifies its broader automation role. Exact application should follow the installed system configuration. Application should remain aligned with the documented system design.

For maintenance or replacement work, the exact module designation should be checked against the installed hardware, wiring records, and control-system documentation before the component is placed into service. The product should be matched to the documented control-system position.
